What is Holy week? During Holy Week (the week preceding Easter Sunday), Christians commemorate the Passion of Christ, Who died on Good Friday in restitution for the sins of mankind, and rose on Easter Sunday to give new life to all who believe. While Holy Week is solemn and sorrowful, it also anticipates the joy of Easter through the recognition of God's goodness in sending His Son to die for our salvation.
Maundy Thursday Communion Service
April 17 ~ 7:00 p.m.
Maundy Thursday, also called Holy Thursday, is the name given to the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, known as the Last Supper. When we celebrate this event, we are remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Knowing Jesus gave himself that all who believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:15-16) encourages us and fill us with joy and gratitude.
"When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. Then He said to them, 'With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.' Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, 'Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.' And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 'This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.'" Luke 22:14-20 (NKJV)

Easter Sunday Praise & Worship Service
April 20 ~ 9:30 a.m.
On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ - His victory over death. Jesus was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross at Calvary. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him.
"Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."' And they remembered His words. Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest." Luke 24:1-9 (NKJV)
Join us at worship Easter Sunday as we celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.
There will be no Growth Groups Easter Sunday.
